Daddy Donkey Kick-Ass Mexican Grill

I came across Jack Teagle blog the other day and saw a mass of illustrations he did for Daddy Donkey Kick-Ass Mexican Grill. I saw an image and thought wow those are some real nice illustrations. I then scrolled down the page to notice he had illustrated an entire food truck.

“Inspired by Mexican culture and folk art, Jack has incorporated his huge love for Lucha Libre, Mexican wrestling, into hand-drawn designs and characters which are now wrestling their way around our truck in Leather Lane.”

Jack describes his inspiration, “I couldn’t wait to get started on creating the designs for Daddy Donkey. After it was finished I was really pleased to have such a strong piece of work. I think I had a moment of clarity after I had just coloured the whole image and had seen how busy and lively the whole thing was.” Pares
